Director's Note
The Pirates Of Penzance Junior is a great show for a large ensemble with plenty of good singers. There are many great featured parts to showcase all talents and levels of ability – including some great roles for performers with comedic skills. While not a lot of dance is required, the Major General’s daughters could highlight
a few female dancers. If the pirates or policemen have any physical comedy or
acrobatic skills, those could certainly come in handy.

policemen. And if nothing else, your stage should be filled with lots of pirates!
Musical Difficulty
Solos for all principals, and many featured sections for the ensemble.

in unison or simple two-part harmony.
