  • Each group will be allowed 15 minutes during adjudication, including any setup or cleanup that may be involved.

  • Your 15 minute performance is not required to follow the continuous plotline of your chosen show. For example:

    • You may select your three favorite numbers from your production and perform them back-to-back.
    • You may perform small scenes of your chosen show between your songs to give your 15 minute performance a narrative element.
    • Unlike past years, you MAY NOT perform elements from more than one show.

  • No sets or costumes will be allowed. During adjudication, casts may wear their own school or organization T-shirts, otherwise official Junior Theatre Festival T-shirts (supplied upon your arrival) must be worn at all times.

  • Minimal handprops, including hats, gloves, and canes, may be used. If you have questions about whether your props will be allowed, please feel free to contact us.

  • Groups must perform to a Broadway Junior accompaniment CD. A sound system will be provided for you. A representative (teacher, director, parent) from your group will be expected to play your CD.
